SHAPERS CLUB de Marennes: A Center for Innovation and Local Surf Culture

Located in Marennes, the future SHAPERS CLUB is an innovative initiative created by Renaud and Thomas CARDINAL. SHAPERS CLUB is more than just a gathering of shapers; it's a center of innovation and surf culture that promises to redefine the craft and experience of surfing.

Blending tradition, innovation and craftsmanship, the SHAPERS CLUB (EPV and BPI Excellence accredited) is a space where master craftsman Renaud CARDINAL and his team welcome shapers from all over the world, underlining its international scope and ambition.

The SHAPERS CLUB is a meeting place for surf enthusiasts, where they can discover the surfboard manufacturing process, take part in workshops and events, and much more. Each activity is designed to immerse visitors in the world of surfing and craftsmanship, giving them a unique experience.

In addition to being a hub of activities centered on surfing and crafts, SHAPERS CLUB is also a meeting place and exhibition space for surf culture. The site will include a bar/café/restaurant, where visitors can meet before and after a surf session, to discuss, share and celebrate surf culture.

SHAPERS CLUB is also equipped with a training room for surfers who want to improve their technique and perfect their style. In addition, the club will feature an outdoor skatepark for board enthusiasts, as well as coworking rooms for those looking for an inspiring working environment.

As a center for innovation and surf culture, SHAPERS CLUB is dedicated to promoting surf culture and showcasing local craftsmanship. It is set to open its doors in July 2024, bringing a new dimension to the surfing experience.

Inspired by the "Too Fast to Fail" approach and the high performance of surfboards produced by UWL Surfboards, a renowned French company, SHAPERS CLUB promises to deliver high quality surf experiences that are 100% Made in France12.

Marennes, May 27, 2023 - Local founders Renaud and Thomas CARDINAL are proud to officially present the SHAPERS CLUB project at the UWL workshop in Angoulins this Saturday, May 27. This ambitious project, which will open its doors in
July 2024, is a local initiative with an international scope.
